Pastor Steve Beverly
My heart first went out to these residents after my adopted mother was struck down with a brain aneurysm.  The siblings traveled to Oregon in order to find a facility that could take excellent care of her and at these places they stood in the hall ways longing to talk to someone, someone that would reach-out to them, and that someone was me.

During the two years at seminary and today I teach the promises found in the Bible and enjoy the company of these precious people.  However this is a tough ministry; to build relationships and see the people slowly decline in their health, approaching their eternity is hard for the heart, however, the bright side and what makes it all worth while is reassuring and encouraging the believers of their destiny and leading others to the cross of Jesus Christ.
